What is a Potluck Moai?
The term "moai" (pronounced mow-eye) comes from Okinawa, Japan. It means "meeting for a common purpose." Traditionally, moais provide social networks where members experience the stress-shedding security of knowing that there is always someone there for them.

A Blue Zones Potluck Moai is a group of 5-9 individuals who regularly gather together to share healthy recipes and conversation in a potluck setting. Ideally, the group commits to meeting three to five times over the course of ten weeks and takes turn hosting the event in their homes.

How do I get started?
Attend the Launch Event to join a team based on your shared interests and your availability to meet. Discuss food allergies with each other or consider forming a Moai based on dietary preferences.

As a team you will determine when and where you will meet over the next ten weeks. Your team leader will track and report your team's progress.

Each team will be eligible to win prizes, which will be awarded upon completing 10 weeks of sharing meals together at a Celebration event.

Please download, print, and complete this Registration Form, and bring it with you to the event. Forms will also be available at the event.
