Dan Buettner founded Blue Zones, a company that puts the world's best practices in longevity and well-being to work in people's lives. His books The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived the Longest and Thrive: Finding Happiness the Blue Zones Way were both best-sellers and featured on "Oprah." Buettner is currently working with Healthways to implement the program and improve well-being in three Beach Cities of Los Angeles, in communities across Hawaii, Oregon and Southwest Florida, as well as Fort Worth and the entire state of Iowa.

Dr. Michael Greger

Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture, The Humane Society of the United States  

A founding member and Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Michael Greger, MD, is a physician, New York Times best-selling author, and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues. He has lectured at the Conference on World Affairs, testified before Congress, and was invited as an expert witness in the defense of Oprah Winfrey in the infamous "meat defamation" trial. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Agriculture and Tufts University School of Medicine. Currently Dr. Greger serves as the Director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture at The Humane Society of the United States. His latest book How Not to Die became an instant New York Times Best Seller. More than a thousand of his nutrition videos are freely available at NutritionFacts.org, with new videos and articles uploaded every day.

Organizer, Trainer and Consultant, Michael Jacoby Brown Training and Coaching  

Michael Jacoby Brown has worked as a community organizer and trainer for over 35 years, starting as a volunteer working with labor unions and community groups. He has worked for The Vermont Alliance, Mass Fair Share, the National Jobs with Peace Campaign, the PICO Network and as a trainer, coach, mentor and consultant to numerous community, housing, labor, religious, health and political organizations. He was the founder and Director of the Jewish Organizing Initiative, (now JOIN). He is the author of Building Powerful Community Organizations and writes a monthly E-News, The Organizers Edge. Michael has an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School and serves on the Board of the Union of Minority Neighborhoods.

Brett Powell

Associate Director, Roper Center

Brett Powell's many years of marketing experience include serving as Senior Director of Marketing and Fan Experience at International Speedway Corporation at Watkins Glen International and as Director of Business Development and Client Services at the marketing and communications firm Howell Liberatore & Associates, Inc. In 2015, Powell was recognized on the Central New York Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list. Brett has been an adjunct professor at the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College as well as at Corning Community College and holds a Master of Science Degree in Experimental Psychology from Saint Joseph's University of Philadelphia.

Rob Bliss

Founder, Rob Bliss Creative

In the past three years, Rob Bliss has created viral videos that have totaled more than 100 million YouTube views, all of which were organic, i.e. not purchased. This number does not include media broadcasts, which would easily double the view count. Last year, Rob Bliss Creative also made YouTube's "Top 10 Trending Videos of 2014" list. Prior to that, Rob organized free community events that totaled for an attendance of 100,00 without spending a cent on advertising. His work can always be summed up as: fun, inclusive, hopeful.
